Christmas 2010

Christmas was a fun time this year! It is so much better with kids! We started the festivities the Saturday before with the Beenfield family party, and then continued that with a Beenfield cousin party on Thursday, the day before Christmas Eve. Friday after Carson got off work we headed up to my parents for Christmas Eve and Christmas. We spent the day playing games and visiting with family. Christmas we got up and opened presents, of course. It was a lot of fun to watch Kambree open her and Rylee's gifts. The rest of the day was spent playing Just Dance 2 (my dad's gift to my mom), monopoly (credit card version - my parents gift to Carson), the Dearden family party (which unfortunately I didn't get to many pictures - I was too busy talking). The next day we traveled home on icy roads, spun out in the corolla, very scary!! Once we were home safe and sound we had our little familes Christmas and then headed over to the Hampson family party (Carson's side). We came home spent and full of good food, watched a movie, and put the girls to bed. Fun weekend!! Monday morning Carson had to work, but it turned out we got an extra Christmas present because the sewers backed up at the clinic so he got Monday and Tuesday off! Yay! We headed back to Henefer to get the Oldsmobile out of retirement. After the scary incident with the corolla, we decided for the winter we better drive the Oldsmobile because it is much heavier and a bit more roomy. So it is back and running...who would have thought, that car has been in the family since it became a car. So now, what you all are waiting for anyway....the pictures. Beware, there are A LOT.

below: After we got home from the cousin party on Thursday night Kambree tripped and fell, hitting the glider ottiman on the way down. This was the result the next morning, her first shiner, luckily the swelling didn't last long. Of course, the rest of the weekend every time Uncle Aaron saw her he would call "Yo Adrian" - haha

Unfortunately we don't get to see Nana and Papa (Carson's parents) over Christmas, but we did get to talk to them and Laine (in argentina on a mission) on Christmas morning! They sent out some awesome gifts including this sweet Duke cheerleading outfit for Kambree. Of course, when she opened it the first words out of her mouth were, "Oh, cute!"

Kambree loves hats and is constantly stealing Rylee's hats. Just had to throw in a picture.
