This year was the first Thanksgiving I have spent away from family. It was sad to miss out on seeing everybody but it was a very special holiday for us. Carson played in a turkey bowl that morning and enjoyed a break from the studying for a day. We had a Thanksgiving dinner at the church with other families that didn't have their family close by and stayed afterwards and played games. It was such a fun way to spend the holiday!
